Hey! I’m Samon. I’m new here at Elle and Co. Styling Salon but not new to the game. I’ve been in the industry professionally for over a decade, both unprofessionally and professionally: 16 years. That means I’ve been experimenting with hair since I was 14 years old! So no one was surprised when I decided to go to cosmetology school! 

I’m a true Virgo. Being a Virgo means I take pride in the small details and my love/hate relationship with perfection. Theirs traits have molded me into the stylist I am today! You can count on me to pay attention to every little detail to ensure you love your hair. Some of my favorite things to do behind the chair are extensions, dimensional color and vivids. 

When I’m not at the salon, you can find me tending to my mini zoo at home with my partner. Yeah you heard me, mini zoo! We have 3 dogs, 3 cats, a rabbit and a bearded dragon. Sounds chaotic but I think your animals somehow take after you and I would say I’m a pretty chill person! Don’t get me wrong, they are not saints all the time… but I am! 

1) I eat way too many kettle chips. If anyone has any healthier alternative suggestions I have a box at my station. 

2) I was on the poms team in highschool. Even though I’m quite and introverted, I’m a sucker for good choreography.

3) I have an obsession with thrifting and antiquing. For many reasons but one of them being is that piece is unique and I believe in recycling goods for the health of the planet. My favorite collections are a tie between my vintage salt and pepper shakers and my pink Pyrex collection.
